Electronics to Buy on Black Friday

I was just looking at Google Trends and see that many of the popular Black Friday searches are related to electronics and video games, so I figured I’d share a list of cameras, computers, video games and other items I purchased and liked a lot this year.
These items cover a wide price range, and they are not in any particular order, aside from the order I thought of them.
The one thing they all have in common is that I love and use each on a regular basis, so they could be a good treat for you or somebody on your gift list.
- Canon VIXIA HV30 High Definition Digital Camcorder: well priced, great quality, and easy to use
- Blackberry Bold: by far the best phone I’ve had
- Apple iPod touch: I didn’t want an iPhone, but wanted the functionality and apps
- Dell Vostro laptop: I got a 1400, but it’s no longer available
- ASUS Eee PC 900-W017 Notebook: fantastic, small machine for travel
- Nintendo Wii: get extra controllers and chargers - great fun playing 4 player games
- BeerTender: not really consistent with the theme here, but a great toy for Heineken drinkers
- GPS: I have the Garmin Nuvi 260W, which seems to only be available as a refurbished unit now
- M-Audio MicroTrack 24/96 Professional 2-Channel Mobile Digital Recorder: great for podcasters
- Broadband card: I have an AT&T USBConnect 881 and use it constantly - if you travel, you should have one
- Sony PSP 2000: essential for cross-country flights
One last item I didn’t purchase yet, but I’m thinking about it, is the Flip MinoHD. However, while the video is better than previous Flip cameras, it still doesn’t have an external audio jack.

The widget brings in feeds from many of the top sites along with buzz from Twitter on Black Friday.
